The Media
Just sitting here trying to digest the election news as given to me by the main stream media. It seems that Terry McAuliffe won the governorship of Virginia as a Democrat but this was a win for the Republican Party, because the final results were closer than the aggregate of the polls predicted. It also seems that Chris Christie in winning the governorship of New Jersey in a landslide, became the Republican solution to winning the Presidency in 2016. I’m having a hard time digesting these assertions as the facts as I understand them don’t confirm either assertion.
It seems to me that in politics a political party does not win the electoral process by losing the vote count. As for governor Christie he had a great win in New Jersey, but I seriously doubt that this translates to becoming the nominee of the Republican Party in the 2016 presidential election nor does it presage a winning presidential campaign in 2016. So why are these faux news people bombarding me with these assertions? I guess I’ll just have to keep sitting here pondering until my head hurts because I can’t make heads nor tails out of what they keep saying.
